In the typical crowd insanity, an item can receive a very tiny/minor corner bend and/or a very slight surface ding and/or a very light surface scratch. This does not always occur but it can happen. No in-person autograph collector is immune from this.
Me and my team work hard to protect items during the signing process and not every item will receive'crowd inflicted' minor damage but it is somewhat common for an authentic autographed item (especially photos) to have a very minor corner bend or two, a very minor surface scratch or a very minor surface ding.
