Here's a one of the most important and rarest 1980's movie posters to ever surface - A 1982 BLADE RUNNER UNCUT (white border) NSS (National Screen Service) Printer's Proof! This poster features the best work of one of the most notable poster artist of the 20th Century, John H. This unique must-have BLADE RUNNER proof was obtained years ago from a NSS employee who took it home. He only saved this one single example, and so to date this original has been the only legitimate printer's proof to surface on in the hobby. I point this out because there was a find out here in LA a few years back with a number of Blade Runner artwork ONLY 1-sheet size tests to popup. That test is NOT for the real theatrical movie poster 1-sheet. This poster is the only real deal out there, and so if you collect important or exotically rare posters - you just found a doozy! It's really fantastic to see this uncut version of the poster with a white border all around the poster.

All of the final released versions of this 1-sheet were issued without it. They call that a "full bleed" in the advertising industry.

That's also very cool to see. All of the original crop marks are visible on this poster as well.

Pinhead sized chips in the left border and a small tear all the way down at the bottom of the poster. The tear has been mended with a small slice of acid-free document repair tape. The defects are very minor.

If this poster were linen-mounted it would present at least NearMINT in condition. This uncut poster measures 43x30 inches in total. Don't be confused about the size - THIS IS 100% GUARANTEED TO BE A 1-SHEET PROOF! This is witnessed by the crop marks on the poster that match the 1-sheet size, and, it's also witnessed by the NSS fine print in the black margin at the bottom in the middle of the poster. That only appeared on the one-sheet.

Besides, this poster is also printed on the exact same paper as the final NSS 1-sheets. This is how NSS made the 1-sheet proofs for the final runs in 1982. I also have a Rocky III NSS test proof 1-sheet that matches this format in every way.

It's also available for sale if anyone out there is looking for one. The poster was found in a tube, but I've had it stored flat between acid-free paper for years now, and so no curl.
