Blade Runner Sketchbook Various Artists Illustrations 1st Edition June 1982
This was not printed or bound very well so keep that in mind. But the binding is still in tact despite its age and mediocre manufacturing. All copiesvare boind like this, just giving a heads up as I bought this new and took good care or it and didnt touch it for 20 years. It just sat on my shelf. Please look at the pictures of the front and back covers to see the defects. There is a crease on the back cover. All the inside pages are untouched. The binding is still in tact like I said but each time you open it, it gets degraded just a tiny bit more. Sketches from everyone involved from the high concept Syd Mead stuff, to the logos, to the buildings.
A must for any Blade Runner fan. Most of these sketches are not in any other book I'm aware of. Lots of interesting stuff they didn't use.
Even the Syd Mead books I've seen don't have a lot of his sketches from this book. Should only increase in value. I don't see them reprinting this anytime soon. I should have taken more pics of some of the other artists represented and I think there are sketches by Ridley Scott but I didn't want to take it out of its plastic bag again.
