The "Tomenosuke Blaster OG" is a weathered model of the final version of the Tomenosuke Blaster, the "Tomenosuke Blaster 2019, " which has undergone a series of brush-ups using new molds. For convenience, we named the model "OG" after it. The original blaster was shown for the first time at the 64th World Science Fiction Convention held in LA in August 2006, and the white powdery checkering on the grip was reproduced. The small scratches and scuffs visible throughout the gun are intentional.

Also, the black baked-on paint on the grip frame where it meets the grip end was sanded until the ground color of the aluminum was exposed, capturing the characteristics of the original blaster. I was careful to keep the weathering to a moderate level so as not to overdo it and make it look dirty. The meaning of "OG" (original) also reflects the creator's desire to create a blaster that is as unique as the person who holds it in their hands. In the instruction manual included with the kit, you will find a number of analog drawings of the original Tomenosuke blaster that were drawn by the sculptor, Tokunobu Takeru, in 2007.
