RARE 1982 CPC Blade Runner Movie Board Game Harrison Ford MINT Sealed MIB

CPC Blade Runner Board Game Shrink-Wrap SEALED. 17-1/2 X 9 X 1-1/2. Based on the original Blade Runner (1982) science fiction movie directed by Riddley Scott and starring Harrison Ford (as Deckard), this board game was produced by CPC in 1982 in very limited quantities (no more than 100 pieces) and distributed in test areas in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area. Because of the mixed reviews and low opening box office for this dark, foreboding adult-rated sci-fi film, very few toys were produced and CPC (long out of business) never produced any more of these games. No other company ever picked up the license.

Since then, the movie has become a cult classic and spawned all sorts of merchandise based on both this first movie and the recent sequel but this is the first and only limited production board game (old school with a colorful folding board, plastic playing pieces, VK Monitor Cards, scoring sheets and a pair of dice). The object of the game is to keep your identity secret and hunt for replicants (androids) among your fellow players to become the Blade Runner.

This game is from my personal collection. It has never been opened and is still shrink-wrap sealed. This shrink-wrap sealed box has no dings, dents, bends or any damage. There is a small scuff and a small teardrop shaped vent hole in the shrink-wrap on the back from the shrink-wrap process and a similar one on one end (see photos) but that is all. If this kit is opened it will not be in the same condition as sent and will not be acceptable as a return. This unopened copy is worth much more than an opened one. Mint IN Box SEALED condition.
